How to Start Investing
Getting yourself started in the world of investing is not a daunting task nor should you feel scared to do so. There are many ways to go about investing but I am here to break down some of the easiest ways to do so.

Next to the invention of the car, the phone was the next best thing. You can do anything finance-related right in the palm of your hand. You can set up bank accounts, make transfers, do wire transfers, and even... invest. Investing from your phone has been made so easy that anyone can do it. You can do it from your house, the beach, the club as you pop bottles from all the money you’ll be making, and anywhere else you can think of.
There is a plethora of apps, but which one is best for you? Many beginners, including myself, use an app called Robinhood. The design is very user-friendly, and you can start investing with just $1. This is especially good for beginner investors and even more advanced ones because you can buy ETFs, stocks, trade options, and much more.
There are many apps out there to choose from, and it’s all a matter of personal preference. Acorns is also a great app to start investing with because it invests your unused change. For example, if you buy a candy bar for $3.50, rather than carrying around that change, you can invest the $0.50 and watch it grow over time.

Some people prefer not to have any financial apps on their phones, and that is completely understandable. So, what’s the next best thing? A computer! Rather than downloading apps onto your mobile phone, you can simply visit websites such as Robinhood, Webull, Ameritrade, and more.
One big advantage of using a computer rather than your phone is the view. Your phone is only so big, so using it can feel a bit cramped, and it can be harder to find things. With a computer, the screen is much wider, and as you dive deeper into investing, you may need a larger screen—or multiple screens—to optimize your investing strategy.

In terms of being a beginner, talking to a financial advisor is also a great way to start investing. They are professionals who help people grow their funds and achieve their financial goals. You don't need a lot of money to talk to most financial advisors either. You can walk into your local bank or credit union and typically schedule a simple consultation.
Why choose a financial advisor? They can help reduce risk, find great tax benefits, and provide you with solid returns. Investing is meant to be fun and simple, but it's not designed to make you rich with zero knowledge. Working with someone allows you to ask questions, pick their brain, and lets them get to know you and decide what’s best for you. You may not do well with risk diversification, but they will. Working with a financial advisor is a great opportunity to get some skin in the game and have your money making even more money.
