The market is down.

As you can see, the market is not doing too hot. Over the past month I am down a little bit over $4,200 which is just part of the risk you take when investing. This is why it is important to spread out your investments and have safer options. If you were all in on a riskier stock, you may be down 20-30% or even more rather than 7% like me. More risk more reward, but you will feel the down market a lot more.
This does not discourage me from investing and only makes me want to invest more. A lot of people panic and sell their stocks but then when the market goes back up you end up having to buy back in at a higher price.
*I have taken a chunk out of my S&P 500 stock to invest in a piece of real estate.
